Ambu’s single-use sampling solution enables BAL procedures to be performed more efficiently in the bronchoscopy unit compared to traditional methods. The innovative closed-loop system is offered in the aScope 5 Broncho Sampler Set, along with a 60 ml sample cup to support the sample volumes required for BAL procedures.

With the aScope 5 Broncho, you are free from the limitation of the number of endoscopes. You have a variety of sterile bronchoscopes in different sizes ready for use whenever you need them for diagnosis, treatment and peripheral bronchoscopy procedures.

Diagnostic and treatment procedures

The aScope 5 Broncho HD 5.0/2.2 and 5.6/2.8 endoscopes offer excellent maneuverability, even when working with endotherapy instruments, including high-frequency instruments. This feature, combined with the bright and clear image, makes them suitable for many diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

BAL Procedures

The single-use Ambu® aScope™ 5 Broncho Sampler
Set is a unique integrated sampling solution that preserves the sample, simplifies workflow, and increases safety.

It includes a 60 ml sample cup to meet the need for larger samples in BAL procedures.

Peripheral bronchoscopy procedures

The aScope 5 Broncho 4.2/2.2 offers a unique opportunity to utilize a normal-sized working channel in a slim bronchoscope. Its slim size and high bending angles of 210°/210° provide excellent maneuverability.

Furthermore, it is compatible with commonly used endotherapy instruments and active instruments*. These features make the aScope 5 Broncho 4.2/2.2 ideal for peripheral bronchoscopy procedures.

Smaller anatomies

With its thin outer diameter, the aScope 5 Broncho 2.7/1.2 can be used in smaller anatomies without compromising maneuverability, image quality or access to the working channel. In fact, it offers a 120° field of view and a depth of field of 3-100 mm. The ultra-thin aScope 5 Broncho 2.7/1.2 is suitable for ET tubes as small as 3.5 mm.
